Fantastic wheel choice. Simplicity is underrated in the modding world. I say, tack on a few high-performance parts regardless of how they look and call it a night. Lot of folks want to "tweak" their car's look and make it unique (gotta impress the forums), but I'm into generic. I like "yeah, bought the car, just installed these upgrades, should be a helluva ride now!"
The 8th gen Si is one of those cars I'm infatuated with but unfortunately, probably not enough to ever buy. Who really knows though....
We have an 8th gen coupe auto in the family, drove it today. I'm always thinking how nice it would be if it were in Si trim

I don't really care about how common a wheel is, I just want them to look nice ! I kind of feel the same way about mods(if it is the best part, why aren't you buying it). I bought most of my parts used cause "fuck it" and they are super common. . . They aren't important just MAKE LOUD PARTS!

Ugh, My neighbour was telling me that my Cavalier costs me more than his 8th Gen civic. No it doesn't. How the hell could it?

As an Oppo owner of an 8th gen, I highly encourage you to invest in one if you can. As the last truly magic Honda, the prices will only go up. And worst case scenario, you're left with the best handling sport compact of the 2000s that also screams to 8k rpms like a mini-exotic.

Well he claimed to have bought himself. Yeah I understand I've had to do some maintenance, but there is no way I am 20K down the hole or whatever his civic cost. I'm at about $1k/ year in maintenance costs.

As an previous owner of a 8th gen Si, dont buy one. Honda has lost what it had in the late 90s. There cars now are junk. The transmissions are made of glass and the cmc cant handle shifting at high rpms. Dont even get me started on the fit and finish/paint quality. kept the car for less then a year because it was such a let down.
